Critical metals developer Australian Strategic Materials has consolidated its strong partnership with the South Korean market with the official opening of its high-purity plant in the Ochang Foreign Investment Zone, 115km south of Seoul.
The new plant will produce critical metals and alloys to customer specifications, with an initial focus on neodymium iron boron and titanium metal alloys to meet forecast global demand.
MD David Woodall says the plant represents signals a new direction for Australia’s resource sector and its own world-wide strategic collaborations.
