New ASX listing Siren Gold is targeting a start late this month of drilling on the Big River gold project in the Reefton Goldfields on New Zealand’s South Island, after completing a $A10M initial public offer that attracted very strong support from new investors.
Incorporated as private company Condamine Resources in 2017 with the aim of acquiring NZ gold projects, Siren is focused on its 100%-owned tenements that historically produced 268,000oz @ 25.6g/t within the 35km-long Reefton Goldfield, which delivered more than 2Moz @ about 16g/t but remains completely under-explored in modern times.
MD Brian Rodan says the IPO funds allowed Siren to begin drilling at the Alexander River mine last month.
