AUSTRALIA: DIGGERS ENJOY COMMODITIES 'SWEET SPOT'

Western Australian miners are welcoming the fact that the growth in the development and operating of projects supplying the battery materials required by the booming global electric vehicles and energy storage industries.
While gold has been the primary focus of the mining industry since its first discovery in the state 137 days ago, joined in the last half-century by nickel, this week's Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum is highlighting the growing number of companies producing or heading towards production of the wide range of "new age" commodities for the world-wide transition to a low-carbon future.
