Egypt-focused miner Centamin is confident it remains on track to return its Sukari gold mine towards production levels of 500,000ozpa within two years, after posting a 6% increase to 440,974oz in the 12 months to end-Dec (FY2022) from 415,370oz in the prior period.
Sales of 438,638oz (FY2021: 407,252oz) at $US1,794/oz ($1,797/oz) delivered revenue of $788.4M ($733.3M). AISC was $1,399/oz ($1,234/oz).
Attributable profit after-tax was $72.5M ($101.5M) and adjusted EBITDA $319M ($328.8M).
Centamin maintains FY2023 guidance at 450,000-480,000oz, weighted towards the second half, at AISC of $1,250-1,400/oz.
