Uranium explorer Deep Yellow plans an updated definitive feasibility study on the Mulga Rock project it has acquired through its just-completed merger with Vimy Resources.
Vimy’s Aug 2020 DFS Refresh outlined a $US255M capital development in Western Australia’s Great Victoria Desert, 290km NE of Kalgoorlie, producing 3.5Mlb U3O8 over 15 years.
DYL says the new update to include base metal recovery optimisation work, detailed resource definition drilling and mining studies.
Together with its Tumas project in Namibia, where a DFS with potential for 3Mlbpa production is due by end-2022, Deep Yellow is now the only ASX-listed company with two near development-ready uranium operations.
